Matías got his Ph.D. at Universidad de la República, Uruguay, where his research focused on the use of Generative Models and their interaction with classical techniques for anomaly detection in images, with a focus on unsupervised and self-supervised learning. Previously, he obtained a Master's degree in applied mathematics for machine learning and computer vision at ENS Paris-Saclay, France, and his undergraduate degree in Engineering from the Universidad de la República. Matías joined the Digital Sense team in 2018 and has since participated in and led numerous projects, primarily related to Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Data Science. He has been working in the industry for over 10 years.
