Álvaro is an R&D and innovation expert with over 20 years of experience overseeing R&D projects, over 50 publications, and a US patent.
As the former Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Universidad Católica del Uruguay and a member of the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) board, his career has touched many people. He shares his experience teaching at two prestigious business schools, Universidad Católica del Uruguay and Universidad de Loyola Andalucía in Spain, specializing in AI and business.
He is now focused on the power of deep learning for image analysis and web application attack detection.
